I have been working a lot, spending time with my friends, bicycling with my boyfriend, cooking, sun bathing, dreaming, going to movies, visiting flea markets, enjoying the superb weather, growing herbs...

On my mind right now are up-coming sunday with sunshine and idea of going swimming, my "artsy-week" in one week meaning boyfriend`s out of town and i`m going to spend my time being creative, my four-day holiday in the countryside in two weeks, Flow festival in Helsinki in August, visiting my lovely friend to Stockholm sometime in August.

I found a hat today almost just like dianes. I love it! Going to wear it every day.

I love being me, i love my life, i love this summer!

I just talked with my Budapest flatmate, she got robbed today. I feel so bad for her. She got home this morning and the doors where opened and everything was gone. I hope she will be okay soon.

I haven`t had time to write, but that`s only a good thing. I have been working, seeing my friends, spending time with my boyfriend and celebrating his birthday.

Today on the other hand i have no plans yet. I think i will just stay inside, hang around, watch some Friends episodes maybe and i think i feel like sewing something too. Maybe a summer dress or something.

I already have a nice small gift i know he will like. Still i would like to make it a special day for him - pamper him for the whole day maybe or throw a surprise party, or just have a romantic dinner outside or in the balcony...

We woke up early today. I did a few yoga sun salutations, we made our morning raw breakfast smoothies, and now drinking my morning tea. Sun is shining outside, and i couldn`t be feeling better.

I`m home

Prefing:

I have been home now for 4 days, and got sick yesterday. Not fun, especially when it`s a great sunny weather outside.

It`s also weird to be back in this city, and it has been like a rollercoaster - me smiling or crying every other second. I guess it takes time to get back to this life rythm.

I moved to my boyfriends place for the summer, and finally it starts to look like a home, just some minor decorating is still missing.

This is what we are aiming for at home. We love it. (Not just me, haha)

Disappointments

Great! The exam i had been preparing myself for the past three days was cancelled. It was supposed to be held this morning, and we got informed this morning at school that the professor is sick so there will be no exam. These kind of things i don`t like here at all. How can it be possible that no one else could supervise the exam, or that he couldn`t send the exam through email to another person. Arg!!! I`m a little pissed of right now.

Another annoying thing is the weather. How can it possibly be so cold in May in Budapest, that i have to wear double stockings and four layers of shirts plus a jacket and a warm scarf - and keep the heaters on at home?!

Okay, now lunch and then continue studying for another exam tomorrow morning. I certainly hope that one will be held.

(Uups, apparently i needed to clear my head a little i guess.)

In my fantasy world

I love living in a fantasy world. I make lists and plans, find musing photos and songs. Most things i plan never come through, but i love the planning and dreaming part so much too, so i don`t care if everything doesn`t go by the plans. Also i`m quite often a very lazy person to even come close realising these plans. Still the world is a tuff place, and by dreaming a little it`s far more fun and adventureous!

In my mind i`m planning my fantasy summer right now. I`m getting ideas all the time, writing them down, and it`s really difficult to concentrate on other stuff like studying for an exam.

One kind of lovely summer by me:

*waking up early in the mornings

*waking up to the sunshine, putting on some lovely music and having a cup of cream rooibos tea at the balcony

*doing sun salutation yoga in the mornings

*go skateboarding, running and bicycling

*having lots of flowers at home

*grow greens at home

*cooking and trying out new recipes

*reading books and poetry

*decorating my bike and taking it everywhere i go

*sewing summer dresses

*spending time with my boyfriend <3

*having great talks with my friends over coffee and picnics

*having friends over for morning brunch

On my wish list

I miss being able to do decorating, re-placing furnitures around my home, handcrafting, sewing... everything creative you can possibly do at home. As soon as i go back i will go crazy!

I need to change the curtains, i want to hang some new photos on the walls, i want to sew myself some pretty girly summer dresses and new pillow cases, i want to buy flowers to the balcony and crow some green herbs.

This book is one thing i want in the beginning too.

Another mood

This weekend has been so great! (Even though the weather has been as crappy as it can.) I saw so many friends, met new ones, had coffee, lunch, dinner, parties and dancing. I`m going to be so broken when i have to leave this place. Oh my, i have less then two weeks left.

I`m almost laughing at myself. Couple of days ago i was so ready to go home - now i`m not!

By the way i found these beautiful illustrations of Vanessa Bauer today. They make me happy and smiley.

Two weeks till summer and homesickness

My summer is finally starting to shape up. I finally got a job for the the summer starting in june, and i now know for sure i`m moving to my boyfriends place for the summer when i return back to my home city in two weeks. I`m so happy to have all these things figured out, so that i don`t have to stress about anything but the last two exams coming next week.

Anyway i hate the weather here now. It`s grappy - raining and cold. And back home it`s so warm and sunny. I`m experiencing really bad home sickness right now. Even most of my clothes (especially the warm ones i really need now) are already shipped back.

A week gone so fast

It was a nice week. I love being with my boyfriend, i love seeing my friends, but right now there is no home for me yet. I hope i get one when i have to go back in one month.

I just got back home. Once again travelled for several hours. It`s so exhausting.

This week and the next will be full of school stuff - exams, assignment dead lines, presentations...

I also want to do sports and eat healthy.

Arrived

The exhausting 10 hour trip went well, and i finally arrived yesterday 8pm. He was at home to open the door after i rang the bell. His face was fun. He had this very very neutral expression i seldom get to see, and usually only given to strangers. Haha, and i got a photo of that too.

He was so happy to see me. I love him. I love him so much.

Today we slept late, he made me breakfast, we went out for skateboarding, and took some funny pictures too. Even though it`s little colder then from where i came, the weather has been great and sunny. On the balcony it was warm enough to eat outside and sunbathe.

Today was another sunny day. I had a busy schedule, but i still made some time to relax in our park island. It was already as warm as 28 degrees in the sun!

Now i finally finished packing, but i`m still a little worried if my backpack will pass the control as i can only have ONE luggage (no purse or anything is allowed) and the weight limit is 10kg. Well we`ll see how it goes.

But i`m so exited to see my boyfriend tomorrow. I think i will take out my camera to capture his face when he sees me.

Sunny

This weekend has been so sunny and warm! It feels like summer is already here.

Since booking the flights for Tuesday it`s been also a very busy weekend. I have had to do so much stuff beforehand to be able to miss one week of school. But it is so worth it, although i missed a perfect sunshine today and just stayed at home working working and working.

At least yesterday i got out for the whole day, for a boat trip with friends to a near by town up the river. It was so beautiful and warm, and i even got a little sunburned.

Almost one year ago i did something. I left and i was scared. But i was also so excited. I had so many hopes and dreams. This was something i had been waiting for so long long time.

I left alone, and my hopes and dreams were all about growing up, getting more confidence in myself, enjoying life. My plan was to find myself happiness and eventually return back home that way.

For a while i thought i achieved all that, and i guess i did because i felt so good, so great.

But lately some things have got my mind down and i feel i have lost all i had achieved. I feel those same insecure feelings like before i left, i feel not trusting myself anymore, i feel everything but confident. I don`t like this.

I find myself waiting for better times to get me better, and not having the best time of my life now.

But this is weird, because i still enjoy everything so much. Like today, i had such a good day. But for some moments during the day i suddenly feel an emptiness going through me. I don`t like this.

I guess maybe i`m just feeling tired and down temporarily. There are even so many good explanations for that right now. Things that make me feel down, but i know will effect me maybe two three more weeks most.

I should give maybe myself a break.

I had a great talk with a friend of my sister today, whom i`ve only met a couple of times before. She is so nice and cute, and we just ended up having an inspiring conversation over a bottle of good wine. Also i enjoyed so much the whole day today. Picnic in a park, ice cream, and good company.

I have been feeling weird for the past few days. I feel like things in my life are unordinary at the moment and i find myself waiting to enjoy instead of enjoying now.

I only have six weeks left in this lovely city and then i will return to my home city in another country. Six weeks is so short time and goes by so fast that i already find myself dreaming of the summer in There and forgetting This place.

And i hate myself because of not living in the moment. I hate it. I feel like i`m wasting time - waisting my life.

And it doesn`t help that the past three weeks i got to spent with my boyfriend and now he went back and i`m missing him like crazy and counting the days when i will see him once again.

I think what i`m trying to figure out really, is that i really really miss him a lot.

It`s kind of scary and exiting at the same time. People can`t really do anything but wait right now.

All the streets in my city are full of crap since this morning; old broken furniture, broken baskets, used clothes and trash. It has attracted a lot of homeless and bizarre people at least on my street. I feel a bit uncomfortable.

I`m afraid of the dark usually.

Anyway i bought a funny watch today!

I felt weird this morning after i got up, and was thinking what was wrong. But nothing was. In fact i felt really good and calm. I realised the thing different this morning was how i made myself wake up just listening music and not snoozing my phone. No headache and no stressfull feelings. Tomorrow morning another test day to prove myself right!

I had a long day at school today and also it was raining a lot the whole day. Regardless i had a good day: After coming home i made a broccoli and red onion pie, watched an episode of gilmore girls and now waiting for tomorrow and the sunny (rainless) weekend ahead of me.

Worse haircut ever

I already had dreamed of long careless summer hair look, but today it was flushed down the drain in a matter of seconds.

I went to the hair dressers with this picture of alexa chung, and said to the lady that a little bit darker please and no shorter hair please!

The women ruined my hair. While sitting in the chair and she was shortening my hair considerably i was crying inside. I don`t really know why i didn`t stop her. I guess it was because neither of us was communicating in our own language.

The haircut above looks a lot like what i got instead. Anyway now it`s gonna take ages again to get it at least a little longer. I`m mad.
